1946 Interstate Steel Co. was founded by Howard R. Conant in Evanston, IL.
1961 ISC moved to its current location in Des Plaines, IL.
1972 Interstate made a commitment to marketing prepainted metals as an extension of its value-added philosophy.
1994 ISC was acquired by National Material L.P. which enhanced our global purchasing power, expanded our processing capabilities and increased our knowledge of our various markets.
